She obtained an Associate’s degree in Art from Western Wyoming Community College. Her life then shifted gears as she became a wife and mother. "Even through the short hectic years of caring for my three small boys and husband, Art was never too far out of my mind. Now, finding myself with a little less restriction I can again devote some time to drawing and painting."
Partial to the translucent qualities, Amanda works primarily in watercolor, but does an occasional oil, pen and pencil, or charcoal here and there. Loving this area, the abundant wildlife, diverse landscapes, and western nuances she never has to look too far for inspiration. She strives to create art that reflects her passion for nature and the western spirit. "Each of my paintings holds a place in my heart. I am thrilled to see the colors pop off the pages, and images come to life, and then the finished product framed on the wall."
Amanda has a very nice life in South-western Wyoming, with her husband Joe, their three boys; Hayden, Sage, Griffin, horses and dogs, and loves having the chance to share her work with others.
